Dress Code: Garden Formal
We’re so excited to celebrate with you! Our wedding will have a Garden Formal dress code—think elegant, romantic, and perfect for an outdoor setting.
What does "Garden Formal" mean?
Garden Formal blends elevated style with a soft, outdoor feel. Think flowy dresses, floral prints, light fabrics, and tailored suits in lighter or seasonal tones.
What should women wear?
Midi or floor-length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elevated cocktail attire are all perfect. Florals, soft colors, and airy fabrics fit beautifully with the setting.
What should men wear?
Suits or dress shirts with slacks are great options. Ties and jackets are encouraged but not required. Lighter colors and breathable fabrics work well for the outdoor atmosphere.
Are there any colors guests should avoid?
Yes—so our wedding palette can shine, we kindly ask guests to avoid wearing white, ivory, cream, and yellow tones, including shades that closely resemble them.
What about shoes?
Since the event will be outdoors, we recommend choosing shoes suitable for grass or uneven surfaces (block heels, wedges, or dressy flats are great options).
Is there anything else I should keep in mind?
Think polished but comfortable! The goal is to feel dressed up while still being able to enjoy the outdoor setting.
